Mr Iswadi Damasena
MBBS(Hons) FRACS FAOrthA
Dr Damasena has a keen interest in surgery of the knee including ACL reconstruction, cartilage and meniscal preservation, meniscal transplantation and disorders of the Patello-Femoral joint. He performs all knee surgery including arthroscopy, osteotomy and knee replacements. He also performs hip replacements and trauma surgery being on the on-call Orthopaedic Trauma surgeon at Box Hill Hospital and Cabrini Hospital in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.
Dr Damasena obtained his FRACS (Ortho) from the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2017 having trained in Western Australia. He spent over 2 years in sub specialty training in complex knee surgery, hip replacement surgery and trauma surgery in internationally recognised centers both in Australia and in the UK.
Dr Damasena holds a public hospital appointment at Eastern health as a staff specialist and runs the private practice with locations in Windsor and Box hill Victoria.
Ms Shenay Hussein
Shenay has been Mr Damasena’s personal assistant since 2022. She has worked various areas of the medical industry for more than 20 years. During this time she has gained valuable skills and experience in patient interaction and practice management.
Shenay is very approachable, empathetic and often goes above and beyond for all patients and referring practitioners. She is a real people person and is always willing to help with a smile. She strives to ensure that our patients are satisfied with the outcome of their experience with us.
In her spare time, she enjoy horse riding, water skiing, drawing, keeping fit and active, and has a huge love for animals, most of all her French Bulldog ‘Sophie’.
Ms Tate Goldsmith R.N.
Tate is Mr Damasena’s Practice nurse, scrub nurse and handles theatre bookings
She is a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Scrub Scout in Orthopaedics and has been in this role for 10 plus years.
Her past experiences includes working as a Theatre Nurse, Foot and Ankle Practice Nurse as well Clinical Support through Medical Device Companies.
Tate has passion for health and wellbeing both for her patients and for herself.
This is incorporated in her day to day life caring for her young family. She enjoy spending the majority of my time with them, going for walks and playing in the park. Her personal interests include pilates and cooking.
Dr Saran Seker
Dr Saran Seker completed his Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery through Monash University in 2013. Since then, he has developed a keen interest in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. Over the course of 5 years, he refined his surgical skills in public Orthopaedic surgery units across Victoria and NSW. Currently, he serves as a Doctor with the Melbourne Demons across the AFLW/AFL, having previously toured internationally with the U17 Basketball Australia team.
He is committed to supporting Mr Damasena in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring each individual has a safe and comfortable experience.
Ms Nina Walczak
Nina is a SPOC’s Social Media Marketing Manager and Content & Event Producer.
She has experience in managing and creating content for social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. She is competent in a range of Website Content Management Systems and EDM systems.
